A complete, 5-course meal to help you and your loved one celebrate Valentine’s Day!
This menu features a festive cocktail, cheesy appetizer, 2 main course options (spoiler alert: they’re both pasta because nothing says celebration like carbs), a vegetable side dish & of course, a very simple but super chocolatey dessert!
The Menu-
Grapefruit & Mint Fizz, Goat Cheese with Green Olive Gremolata, Roasted Parmesan Asparagus, Spaghetti Carbonara or Seafood Pasta with Tomato Cream Sauce, Grand Marnier Mud Pies
Cocktail

So let’s get this party started with a cocktail, eh? My Grapefruit & Mint Fizz is the perfect festive cocktail because it’s the most gorgeous pink color, it’s refreshing, and most importantly, it’s really simple! Bonus: you can also swap the liquor for whatever you prefer!

Appetizer

Let’s start things off with one of my favorite appetizers: Goat Cheese with Green Olive Gremolata. The goat cheese can be prepped ahead of time, same with the gremolata, so all you have to do when its appetizer time is combine the two & bam! You’re ready to snack. Not a fan of Goat Cheese? Not a problem! The post offers several cheese substitutions!

Side Dish

Now let’s talk side dish. With an entrée like pasta, I love to serve a simple and bright vegetable side dish. Roasted Parmesan Asparagus is the perfect side for pasta because it’s light and refreshing, with a bright bite from the lemon and tangy finish from the parm.

Option 1

Carbonara is easily one of my top favorite pasta dishes, because it’s so creamy and satisfying. It’s the perfect date night meal because it’s incredibly impressive, but uses just a short list of easy to find ingredients.

Option 2

Seafood Pasta is one of the most decadent dishes that I automatically think of when I think of a fancy date night out. This version is just as good (if not better) than at a restaurant, and is way simpler than you may think!
