For the Jalapeño Simple Syrup
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1-2 Jalapeños sliced in half lengthwise
For the Margarita
- 2 oz Tequila silver
- 2 oz Lime Juice fresh squeezed
- 2 oz Orange Juice fresh squeezed
- ¾ oz Jalapeńo Simple Syrup
- Jalapeño Slices for serving
- Salt or Tajin optional, for the rim
For the Jalapeño Simple Syrup
In a small sauce pan, heat water & sugar over medium heat until the sugar has fully dissolved.
Let the mixture cool slightly, then pour into a jar & top with the jalapeños. For medium heat, add 1, for more heat, add both.
Allow the mixture to cool completely in the refrigerator before using.
For the Margarita
Combine tequila, lime juice, orange juice & simple syrup in a jar or cocktail shaker.
Shake until well combined & serve over ice with jalapeño slices.
