Ingredients

  • 1 Red Onion thinly sliced
  • 1-3 cloves Garlic thinly sliced
  • ½ cup White Vinegar
  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • ¾ tablespoon White Sugar

Instructions

  • Place onions and garlic in a glass jar and set aside.
  • In a small saucepan, combine vinegar, water, salt, and sugar. Bring mixture to a boil then transfer to a measuring cup for easy pouring.
  • Carefully pour liquid mixture over onions and garlic, making sure to fully submerge the onions in liquid
  • Cover and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.
